WakeUp Wake County Update

Bring a WakeUP Wake County Representative to Your Group or Community
Dear Friends,

Are you interested in getting an in-person perspective on growth and related issues in Wake County from the area's most respected citizen advocacy group?

If so, you can call on us.

The news about rapid growth in Wake County and the challenges is poses to transportation, schools, and our water supply is pretty sobering these days, but you can't fix what you don't understand. We would love to help communities and organizations throughout Wake gain a better understanding of the impacts of unmanaged, unsustainalbe growth on our County and our quality of life.

We're firming up our fall schedule of WakeUP speaking engagements and expect to be in towns throughout the county. We would love to add your group or community to our itinerary.

Our staff and volunteers have experience advocating for and educating others about growth in Wake County. More importantly, they are all citizens of our capital region that care about making sure we have a healthy environment, strong economy, world class educational system, and an empowered citizenry for years to come.

We welcome the chance to share what we know, and to share our excitement for the future we envision for Wake County.

Please call Tappan Vickery at 919-859-2177, or email her at tappan@wakeupwakecounty.org for more information, or to schedule a speaking engagement.
