2011 is a critical year for Wake County because we'll elect new city councilors, mayors, and school board members this fall. WakeUP believes that voters need to know where candidates stand on issues affecting our community so voters can hold candidates accountable at the polls.
That's why WakeUP will hold seven candidate forums this fall and register voters. We need YOUR HELP NOW to Get-Out-the-Vote because it will take a lot of work to get our community mobilized for the local elections! Please consider a contribution in the amount of $25, $35, or $50 to help us inform and encourage citizens to vote in the city council and school board elections.
