Wendell Public Safety Day

The Wendell Police Department is presenting its third annual Public Safety Day on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held in the downtown area on Campen Street and Depot Street, which is located just off of Main Street. Various Public Safety agencies will be on hand to demonstrate a wide array of equipment and vehicles. There will be exciting things for the whole family including free hot dogs, drinks and inflatable’s for the kids. Other events scheduled the same day in the downtown area include the Annual Sidewalk Sale and the seasonal opening of the Farmers Market.

If you would like to volunteer, please let me know. Make Wendell the place to be on this day.
