WakeUp Wake County Update

SpeakUP: NC high-speed rail endangered!
Dear Friends,

North Carolina's share of federally approved high-speed rail funding is endangered!  Members of the NC General Assembly have attempted to place the brakes on federally funded passenger rail projects in NC by introducing House Bill 422.  H422 aims to stall high-speed rail by requiring all federal investments in our state to go through an extensive legislative approval process.  NC risks losing over $500 million for high speed rail!  WakeUP asks you to speakUP and let the Wake legislative delegation know that high-speed rail is critical not only for our region's mobility, but for future economic investment and job growth across the Triangle!

Click here to send an email today to your NC Legislators to let them know that you support high-speed rail and are opposed to House Bill 422!
