Dear Friend,

Will you come out to your favorite spot next Saturday and help us spruce up the Neuse
?

On April 2nd our volunteers will roll up their sleeves to clean the Neuse River.  The Neuse
RIVERKEEPER®Foundation with community leaders will celebrate river protection by cleaning up trash and recyclables from the water and banks of the Neuse.  Boaters will start at 8:00 a.m. and on-foot cleanup will begin at 10:00 a.m.  A limited number of canoes will be supplied at Falls Dam, Milburnie Dam and Smithfield Commons (first come, first served) .  Paddlers may also bring their own boats to these locations in order to use provided shuttle service.

Please visit our event website to view cleanup locations.

Once you have made your plans to attend the cleanup, we hope that you will ask yourself the question, "Am I a member of the Neuse RIVERKEEPER® Foundation?"  We are only able to hold the Neuse River Cleanup with the support and generosity of our members and sponsors. Please consider becoming a member today, so that we can continue programs like the Neuse River Cleanup to protect the health and vitality of the Neuse River. When you sign up at the $35 level now or the day of the event, you will receive a special edition NRF Nalgene reusable water bottle at the Cleanup.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Best regards,
