WakeUp Wake County Update

WakeUP awarded two major grants!
Dear Friends,

WakeUP Wake County is pleased to announce that the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation and Triangle Community Foundation have awarded WakeUP grants for its work in 2011! The Z. Smith Reynolds grant will support WakeUP's public education and advocacy efforts on drinking water and public transit issues that affect you. The Triangle Community Foundation's Community Grantmaking Program will allow WakeUP to spearhead our public transit initiative, which includes coordinating the Capital Area Friends of Transit coalition and working to build support for a regional transit system.  WakeUP is most grateful for this critical financial support of our organization!
