Dear Friend,                                                                           Forward this message to a friend
We are continuing RiverWatch program in the Upper Neuse with Orientation Training on February 12th from 10am-12noon at the Walnut Creek Wetland Center in Raleigh. ThiJohn at Streams successful program in the Lower Watershed is now being expanded to the Triangle and we would love to have you join us to learn more about your local streams and how you can protect them..
There is a lot going on in the 6200+ square miles of land that drain into the Neuse. We need your eyes and ears to alert us to problems and help the community better know our neighborhood streams. Register now to attend the free February 12th Training.
RiverWatch educates, engages, and empowers citizens to learn about their local waterways and the challenges to those special places, helping you address challenges to your own neighborhood stream and better understand the watershed as a whole. The curriculum helps people understand the characteristics of a healthy stream and recognize hidden threats. You can join a network of other volunteers at monthly meetings to learn from area experts, hear how others have made a difference, and share success stories from your neighborhood.
