Wake County Update

Best friends bring out the best in us
News to Wag About from the Wake County Animal Center

Join us at McDonald's this Weekend

Enjoy a meal at McDonald's and help homeless animals at the Wake County Animal Center. On Saturday, Nov 13th from 9am - 12pm, come to the McDonalds McCafe at the intersection of Falls of the Neuse and Spring Forest Road in Raleigh.

With every purchase, you will receive a $25 coupon towards the adoption fee at the Wake County Animal Center. We will have adoptable animals available. We will also be taking donations to help support low-cost spay/neuter programs, foster care, and other programs.

$25 Adoptions All Month for Senior Pets

Do you want a new companion, but without all the work that comes with a young puppy or kitten? To celebrate Adopt-a-Senior Pet Month, the Animal Center has lowered their adoption rates!

All dogs and cats over the age of five are $25 to adopt during November, and that includes the spay/neuter fee, vaccinations, and other perks. Read about why adult cats and dogs can be a better choice for your family. Then, visit the Center to find your new best friend today.

Blossom

Meet Blossom

She did really well on her behavior assessment, so she was enrolled in Canine College where she is working with vet students to learn manners. She already knows sit and seems good with other dogs and children. She walks well on a leash and is housetrained.
