Wake County Division of Solid Waste Management

Tour the South Wake Landfill on April 24, 2010

In recognition of Earth Day, Wake County citizens are invited to attend a free, 45-minute tour of the South Wake Solid Waste Management Facility, 6130 Old Smithfield Road, Apex, on Saturday, April 24, 2010.  Visitors will learn about the County's recycling and disposal opportunities and what happens to items after they are collected.  Tours will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Reservations are required using this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/N7DR78J
