Please join us at the Annual Neuse RIVERKEEPER® Film Festival!

FF Postcard web.jpg
Created in 2005, the Neuse RIVERKEEPER® Film Festival has expanded its audience while maintaining a friendly, intimate atmosphere by selecting local community theater venues throughout the Neuse River basin.  Each evening screening will begin with a reception; wine and microbrews will be served at each location, excluding Wilson Community College.  Due to time constraints, film programs will vary by venue.  Adult tickets are $10 and tickets for children under 18 or students with a school ID are $5.

This January, Festival-goers may see the story of Martin Dreyer, South Africa's Multi-Sport King, who changed the lives of youth in the Dusi Valley by training them for a canoe challenge; explore the depths of the Atlantic Ocean with local videographer Art Howard; take a journey through the Lower Neuse River watershed and down the Los Angeles concrete river; or enjoy the adventure of two girls who decide to find a new home for goldfish.  Other highlights include Oktapodi, an Academy Award-nominated animated film from France, and short documentaries created by middle school students in Raleigh.
Please visit the event website for more details or to purchase event tickets in advance.
