Letter to the editor

Note: I was going to write a letter to the editor but found out they don't take such letters from candidates so I'll just post it here. Glenn

I would like to thank the 'Citizens for Wendell's Progress' (a registered PAC - Political Action Committee) for the ad they ran in last Wednesday's Eastern Wake News.

At first I thought it was a rather negative ad but now see it has turned out to be rather positive – at least for me and my campaign.

Since that ad ran, I have received numerous words of encouragement, more requests for yard signs and even a donation or two.

My only regret is that the ad didn't come out several weeks ago.

The good citizens can see through this smoke screen.
Most know about the lawsuit and know I truly do care about our town and it's future.
If I am against Wendell as the ad says:

Why was I twice appointed by the Wendell Board of Commissioners to the Board of Adjustments?

Why did Mayor Harold Broadwell appoint me to represent Wendell on the Wake County Environmental Services Committee?

Obviously Mayor Broadwell and the Town Commissioners have confidence in my abilities to be a positive representative for Wendell.

But the real issues facing Wendell are high taxes and slow growth, not me nor Ginna.
